We are thrilled to unveil the cover Jackalope Creative designed for the Summer 2026 edition of Dave Campbell’s Texas Football.

Congratulations to Texas Tech on being selected for this year’s cover!  The entire crew involved in bringing this project to life was incredible to work with, and we’re grateful to have played a role in celebrating Lubbock’s accomplishments.

We loved collaborating with Greg Tepper team at Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. Their passion for Texas football, storytelling, and print media is amazing and it was an honor to work with you all.

Shoutout to our photographer, Gabby Hutter, for helping capture the larger-than-life features (and over 3 separate shoots)!

Another shoutout to Ben Roberts who made that 3’ vertical leap what must have been dozens of times to get us the exact position mimicking his interception in the Big 12 MVP game. Congrats on the cover feature, Ben Roberts, Coach Joey McGuire, Cody Campbell, James Blanchard, and Kirby Hocutt!

This one was especially meaningful for us. Not only do we relish any chance to work in print media, but I also remember my dad picking up Dave Campbell’s Texas Football every summer. To have Jackalope Creative’s work on the cover is a beautiful, surreal, full-circle moment.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. We’re proud to be part of the Summer 2026 edition, their 67th release, and the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football legacy.
