Tinier Desk Concerts happen inside Jackalope Creative's office, rearranged into a tiny venue for one night. Consider it a loving homage to that other beloved desk-concert tradition: close quarters and performances built for a room that’s actually listening. Artists bring special versions of their songs stripped back to their core and arrangements you won’t hear at a typical show.

About Will Felty
Hailing from Lubbock, Will Felty crafts dark and dreamy folk music with a West Texas edge. Following in the footsteps of oddball country icons like Jason Molina and Terry Allen, Felty melds brilliant acoustic music with ambient and alt-rock accents. In 2017, Felty won The Blue Light Singer-Songwriter Competition; at 20 years old, he was the youngest person to ever win it. He was a member of the instrumental shoegaze band Everything Is Sad from 2016 to 2019, and has been the principal songwriter for Cowboy Cold since 2018, working with a rotating cast of collaborators. Felty currently resides in Austin, where he plays bass and tours with Chasen Wayne and the Honky Tonk Machine.
Cowboy Cold’s first record, 2018’s Death Blues, was a foray into the lo-fi acoustic territory of early Mountain Goats and Hiss Golden Messenger, bringing a West Texas twang; the project incorporated broader ambient textures with the 2022 album Holy Nobody. A fresh yet classic sound with easy Texas tones and a sly edge, Cowboy Cold indelibly marks Will Felty as one to watch.Capacity is limited, so snag tickets early!
