What is a Tinier Desk Concert?

Tinier Desk Concerts happen inside Jackalope Creative's office, rearranged into a tiny venue for one night. Consider it a loving homage to that other beloved desk-concert tradition: close quarters and performances built for a room that’s actually listening. Artists bring special versions of their songs stripped back to their core and arrangements you won’t hear at a typical show.

About Joy Riot

Joy Riot is Lubbock’s own emo cover band, bringing loud guitars, nostalgic hooks, and all the early-2000s feelings back to the stage. Formerly known as The Thirty Something’s, the band leans into the songs you screamed in your car, burned onto CDs, and still somehow remember every word to. Expect a high-energy set built for singalongs, throwback angst, and a room full of people pretending they’re not still emotionally attached to their favorite eyeliner-era anthems.
